Business Development Intern (REMOTE/VIRTUAL)

The business development department is currently seeking an intern to perform research and analysis in support of the organization’s policy and strategy. As the Business Development Intern, you will also provide data analytics and administrative support to assist with lead generation activities and request for information. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about the economic development field and support the work of showcasing the State of New Jersey as the best place to grow business.

This position will report to the Research Manager. This is a semester-long, part-time internship with expectation for a start date of May 2021 and current tentative end date of August 2021, with potential to continue through the fall 2021 term.

The candidate must be applicable to receive college credit. This position is an unpaid internship that requires 10-15 hours per week spread over 2-3 days per week during normal business hours (9:00am to 5:00pm). 

Given the current environment, this position will be onboarded as a remote/virtual position, with the opportunity to eventually work in-person at the Choose NJ office in Newark, NJ.
