Rachel Cohen is a Senior Business Development Officer at Choose New Jersey, the State’s leading nonprofit economic development organization.
Rachel is responsible for supporting the lead generation and business development efforts for the life sciences and film, television, and digital media sectors. She assists businesses seeking to expand their footprint in New Jersey by providing market intelligence, site selection assistance, information on state resources, introductions to public and private partners, and public relations support.
Before joining Choose New Jersey, Rachel served as the Real Estate Development Manager within Middlesex County’s Office of Business Engagement, where she was responsible for developing strategies that bring municipalities and developers together to expand real estate for business attraction.
Additionally, Rachel has spent many years at DreamWorks Animation managing the distribution and marketing of their home entertainment business.
In her free time, Rachel owns and operates a gourmet bakery in Metuchen, New Jersey, with her brother.
Rachel holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, and a Bachelor of Science from Union College.
