1888 Studios

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority board designated 1888 Studios in Bayonne, New Jersey, as a Film-Lease Partner Facility in May 2024. The designation agreement commits the developer to occupy the facility for at least five years and grants future tenants eligibility to apply for increased tax credits for projects filmed at the facility under the Film and Digital Media Tax Credit program. 1888 Studios will soon join Netflix and Lionsgate as companies building state-of-the-art film studios in New Jersey and taking advantage of the State’s attractive film tax incentives.
