Governor Murphy pitched New Jersey to the Fintech sector at the TiE Mumbai Chapter event, making the case for New Jersey’s innovation economy. “No doubt, you’ve all heard of California’s Silicon Valley. But, before there was Silicon Valley, there was New Jersey,” said Governor Murphy. “Innovation and risk-taking are in our DNA. Discovery is in our DNA. Taking an idea and commercializing it into a world-changing business is deep in our DNA.” TiEGlobal, founded in Silicon Valley in 1992, is a non-profit organization for entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages. The Governor witnessed an MOU between TiE Mumbai and New Jersey City University.
