Why East Asian Companies Choose New Jersey

A Strategic Location

New Jersey, centrally located between Boston and Washington D.C., provides East Asian companies easy access to a vast consumer base, delivering products quickly, often on the same day. A central New Jersey location can serve over 46 million consumers within a four-hour drive. Northeast NJ is just 20 minutes from NYC via the PATH commuter rail or ferry, offering 40% less expensive real estate than New York City.

A Transportation Hub

New Jersey’s infrastructure, including highways, ports, and airports, ensures efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. Newark Liberty International Airport offers 262 non-stop international flights to 76 global destinations daily, and the Port of New York and New Jersey, the largest on the East Coast, ensures swift cargo delivery. With this strategic advantage, manufacturers in New Jersey can outpace competitors, ensuring products reach markets faster.

Join the Best of the Best

New Jersey prides itself on being home to 14 Fortune 500 companies and over 1,100 multinational corporations. This vibrant business ecosystem cements New Jersey’s role as a central hub for international commerce and innovation.

Our State is also a magnet for talent across industries, and New Jersey has the highest concentration of engineers and scientists per mile in the United States. Our top-tier universities, research institutions, and workforce development programs ensure a continuous influx of fresh talent, driving innovation and growth in your business. New Jersey also takes a proactive approach to workforce development, with training programs that keep our residents employed and make hiring skilled workers easy for New Jersey companies.
