A Brooklyn fruit-based beverage company has purchased a Clifton industrial building to boost its manufacturing capacity, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.

3V Co., which produces and distributes beverages in the New York City metro area, bought the 45,670-square-foot building at 9 Bridewell Place from Challenge Partners LLC, the firm said in a news release.

The team of Ken Lundberg, Darren Lizzzack, Randy Horning, Pat Lennon and Lorenzo Lambiase represented the seller in the deal.

“Although large institutional acquisitions continue to define the industrial marketplace, end users like 3V Co. are also continuing to aggressively pursue acquisition opportunities to ensure they can secure long-term homes in this important market,” Lundberg said in a prepared statement. “Our industrial team takes great pride in our ability to strategically target both types of buyers and help our clients attract fair market value for rare assets like 9 Bridewell Place.”

3V, which is remaining headquartered in the New York borough, intends to grow both its administrative and manufacturing areas into northern New Jersey.
