Colab at Bell Works celebrates grand opening of expanded 25K sq. ft. space
November 23, 2020The Colab at Bell Works, the official coworking membership facility at the Holmdel “metroburb,” celebrated its grand opening recently, property developer Somerset Development said.
The 25,000-square-foot Colab includes a mix of professional workspaces available on flexible lease terms at the property, Holmdel-based Somerset Development said in a news release.
The grand opening ribbon-cutting took place last week, and was attended by Holmdel Mayor Gregory Buontempo and other public officials.“Colab at Bell Works continues to be incredibly important to the success and continued growth of our metroburb community,” Somerset Development President Ralph Zucker said in a prepared statement. “We often say Bell Works has something for everyone, and from a workplace perspective, Colab at Bell Works provides a uniquely tailored environment to accommodate individuals, startups and small businesses at any stage in their growth.”
Colab first opened at Bell Works in 2016, in a 3,000-square-foot space, and this facility will provide a significant expansion in footprint. Paola Zamudio and her team at NPZ Style + Décor and G3 Architects provided a human-centric design.
“Thanks to the larger footprint of the new Colab at Bell Works, we’re now able to accommodate more custom solutions and flexible term lengths, which is highly appealing as businesses explore new workspaces in light of the pandemic,” Colab Managing Director Sean Donohue said in a statement. “With the workforce’s shift to remote measures, people are seeking locations that offer a safe and professional setting for a multitude of reasons.”
Colab currently has a roster of approximately 50 business and individuals across a variety of industries.
