Seoul, South Korea — First Lady Tammy Murphy visited Bandi Pre-K School and took a facility tour alongside South Korean government experts to discuss the early education and childcare system. In conversation with the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, the First Lady also learned about South Korea’s government-subsidized childcare and education system, such as efforts to support working mothers and combat low birth rates, which are key issues for the First Lady and her Nurture NJ initiative. The First Lady also participated in a book reading, providing an introductory level English language teaching moment for Bandi students.
