Governor Murphy Kicks Off Choose New Jersey Reception

Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy attended a networking reception hosted by Choose New Jersey at the Jameson Distillery. Irish business and community leaders, members of academia, and elected officials had the opportunity to network with their counterparts from the New Jersey delegation. The reception also included an optional tour of the famous distillery. Wesley Mathews, President & CEO of Choose New Jersey, made remarks regarding the important economic bonds between New Jersey and the Republic of Ireland before introducing U.S. Ambassador Claire Cronin. Governor Murphy spoke about the success of the trip to date and his optimism for future economic collaboration between New Jersey and Ireland across many key sectors.
