Governor Murphy Visits the War Memorial of Korea

Seoul, South Korea — Governor Murphy visited the War Memorial of Korea in Seoul to pay respects and offer prayers for the nearly seven million American veterans who served during the Korean War period. A moment of silence was held in front of the memorial stone where New Jersey veterans’ names are engraved. The visit is especially meaningful amid the 70th anniversary of the alliance between the United States and the Republic of Korea.
