PINE BROOK, NJ – ITP, an Italian manufacturer of polyolefin films for food and industrial packaging, has announced the opening of its first U.S. sales office and warehouse.
The company’s North American subsidiary, ITP USA, Inc. opened in Pine Brook, New Jersey to offer its customers in the region on-site technical assistance and safety stock, when needed, according to ITP owner, Mr. Nicola Centonze. ITP has 180 employees at its manufacturing and R&D facilities in Bosnasco, Italy. Approximately 20 percent of the company’s revenues are generated in the U.S.
“We made the decision to open a sales office and warehouse in Pine Brook to be closer to our U.S. customers and to explore additional opportunities in the U.S. market,” said Mr. Centonze. “We chose New Jersey based on its concentration of food companies, which gives us opportunities for growth.”
Founded 1972 and headquartered in Italy, ITP manufactures and markets a full line of gas barrier films to meet the diverse needs of the food industry. With a commitment to developing products that keep food fresh and extend the shelf life of food products, ITP’s food packaging includes sealable/resealable, easy-open, barrier, anti-fog, thermo-forming and thermo-lamination films. “We are excited about the opening of our new sales office and warehouse in Pine Brook,” said Paola Centonze, president of ITP USA, Inc. “We look forward to the opportunity to expand our presence and product offerings in the U.S. market.”
ITP currently markets its thermo-lamination films to customers in the U.S. food industry chain. The line includes a wide range of self-adhesive products and includes barrier, non-barrier and peelable thermo-lamination films. The company also markets masking films for the surface protection of consumer goods in the U.S.
“We welcome ITP USA to New Jersey,” said Ms. Michele Brown, president and CEO of Choose New Jersey, Inc. “The company’s quality packaging line, as well as its commitment to developing new, innovative products, will be a welcome addition to our growing food industry.”
