The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program handed out eight awards during the Made in New Jersey Manufacturing Day event held Friday at the Marigold in Somerset.

Innovator of the Year

Manufacturing Cares

Broadway Industries (Monroe Township)

Manufacturer of the Year: Startup (in business fewer than five years)

Suuchi Inc. (Carlstadt)

Manufacturer of the Year: Small (fewer than 50 employees)

eMachineShop (Mahwah)

Manufacturer of the Year: Medium (between 51-250 employees)

Puratos (Pennsauken)

Manufacturer of the Year: Large (251 or more employees)

ThorLabs Inc. (Newton)

In addition, the NJMEP gave Honor Roll awards to five organizations that have help lead the way in manufacturing and STEM programs in New Jersey:

  • New Jersey Economic Development Authority
  • New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development
  • County College of Morris
  • Essex County College
  • Rowan College at Burlington County
